# Join us for Healing Hearts: A Self-Care and Wellness Experience

October 10, 2026
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Best Friends Pet Resource Center

Take time to nurture your mind and body through calming self-care activities and experience the restorative benefits of a guided sound bath workshop facilitated by Kandice of Serendipitous NWA as well as connect with local resources that support wellness and healing. Throughout the event, you'll also have the opportunity to meet adoptable pets and learn how the unconditional love and companionship of an animal can play a meaningful role in the healing journey.

Whether you're looking to unwind, explore new wellness practices, learn about community resources, or discover your next Best Friend, this event offers a welcoming space for reflection, hope, and connection.

The NWACSA Estamos Contigo and Project ARCH projects are committed to creating safe, welcoming spaces that foster healing, connection, and hope for survivors, families, and our community. Building on the awareness and conversations sparked during the Piñata SAAM (Sexual Assault Awareness Month) event in April, this outreach event continues their commitment to supporting survivors beyond awareness campaigns by promoting resilience, reducing isolation, and strengthening community connections.

Through the healing presence of animals, accessible resources, and meaningful engagement, we aim to remind every participant that healing is possible, support is available, and no one has to navigate their journey alone. Together, we strive to cultivate a compassionate community where survivors are seen, heard, believed, and empowered.
